'The Longest Road I Know' by Craig 'Questions' Scott

A 44 page zine compiled of text and photographs of a trip through the deep south by Craig "Questions" Scott.

"I visited Sloss Furnace, an old ironworks that stood eerily, dusted in never sleeping rust, corroded by time and coated in the ore oranges of the earth, the coldness of iron itself, the industrial Satanic towers penetrating the grey skies above, forged bolts and millions of rivets, the long-gone activity paused never to again start, coatings darker than the earth's core, motors seized long before my own birth. Around the furnace at great distance were small housing projects, patches of litter strewn earth , trees spewed from the world, a heaving structure dominating all that it surrounds, the ghosts who worked the furnaces stewed in the atmosphere, the creaking winds and slow quivering movements that will consist continuously until the earth claims back this forged iron that belonged once already to the earth itself."
